The other thing that I've learned is that the left-over 2005 vehicles do not have
the full 4 year warranty. Porsche basically screws the dealers, making them start
the warranty prematurely. So I'm losing 6 months- 1 year in warranty on a
"new" 2005. These cars were never titled or even demo'd, yet their warranty
started before they were purchased.

That's why there are still dealers out there with NEW 2004 Boxsters. The dealers
cannot sell them (at least for a new car price). I was trying to deal on a new
2004 a month ago. I offered 35 and the dealer wanted 37. Neither of us
would budge. You'd think one of us would blink. I'm as stubborn as they are
