150 indicated, backed off once we hit the ton-and-a-half we were shooting for.
Utah Desert near Moab, with a spotter 2 miles ahead. Car had a lot more but the road surface didn't. Then did a 120-60 mph braking test that was way more exciting
Meant to do a 0-150-0 timed test at the airport in the 991 C2S before selling, but never found the time and now it doesn't really belong to me anymore (buyer picking up in 2 weeks).

Only about 110 mph on I-290 in Chi town in the Boxster. 230 kph in a BMW 118d on the A5 in Germany. An indicated 165 mph on the M3 back in the UK when I was (much) younger on a Kawasaki Ninja. Those were the days before marriage and speed cameras!

I have nothing to brag about when it comes to top speed in a boxster. 60mph! Woohoo!
But I did 120mph on an ice covered road in Alaska with my 1970 Olds Cutlass. I was 18 and I just got my speedometer working and I wanted to see if I could peg it out. Young, dumb and full of something else. I wasn't the driver, but a friend gave me a 161mph ride in his McLaren at COTA.

Traqmate certified in my Cayman S Sport:
only 130 at COTA & Indy (updated 5/5/18)
135 at KS Speedway in 2014, with several laps in the 130s
Was hoping for 140 at KS Speedway this yr, but the DE was cancelled after 3 sessions in a dispute between NASA & the Speedway. I had been working my way up the ladder with a top speed of 127.
Since my speed runs are on the track, no chance for a visit to the Gray Bar Hotel.

105 mph in my Box on the straightaway @ Streets of Willow CA. Both ways uphill or down same max speed.
In 4 other cars in various places 135 mph, always thinking about what happens if I hit something that blows a tire makes me lift.

140 in my BMW 745. Smooth as ever, felt like I was going 90. I honestly wouldn't want to do that in the box.

Speedo ended at 100, but fuel cutoff on my jeep was 114mph. I ran into it surprisingly fast.
Plug in programmer upped top speed to 128, but I never got that high
Touched 155 in my b5s4
Box has seen middle 120's
All indicated speeds were recorded in Mexico.

Your top speed?
An effortless 148 mph (per my gps) in my 2005 Jaguar XKR. Love my 986s, but I really miss my XKR with its supercharged 4.2 liter V8. It was a true luxury GT (and my daily driver when we returned to Houston after our 10 year expatriation).
I haven’t had the chance to take my 986 over 100 mph.
