Sorry to hear about your car. Gives you a project to work on now, I guess. Merry Christmas!

UPDATE...
I got a repair estimate of $275.00 for the paint work. I texted the other driver and in about 10 minutes she had put the money in my Paypal account.

I have to admit, the title of this thread made me crack up. Sort of like NASCAR announcers talking about Pole-sitters

Well, at least she was decent about it...heard too many stories about the other driver "not claiming" responsibility when it comes time to pay up.
Thank goodness the hand held cell phone usage ban goes into effect here Jan 1...no longer can drivers yak on their phones, slurping their Starbucks, while trying to pilot a road tank (read Escalade). It's doubtful the law will have much of an immediate impact, as drivers tend to ignore all rules in Northern Illinois anyway.

Yeah, well she took pics of her car and my car and texted them to me at the scene and I took pics of her license, registration and her insurance card and her tag. I told her that if I didn't hear back from her after I got the estimate then I would contact the insurance companies. She was cool about everything, thank goodness.
