Just because these punk kids were riding bikes doesn't mean all bikers are bad. Same thing goes with ricer rockets. I'd still consider myself a ricer rocket every time I get in my WRX.

I know when to pull a weapon to use it, I have experience with that.
Get out of a car wearing a .45 and you don't have to pull it or show it to get a positive reaction.

Bull****************, pull it on the wrong dude someday and you will be the tap dancer. Even if you shot a round into the ground and ended the conflict, your carry days would be over in NY. If mine comes out of the holster the negotiating is over and the killing is going to begin. Real life isn't Hollywood, pistols are not made for intimidation they are for killing. If I had my .45 on me and the same thing happened that happened to Pwave, I would have stayed cool and done exactly what he did. Now if one of them threatened me with equal deadly force, then it's game on but as the "johnny danger" of real life once said to me. He who fights and runs away lives to fight another day.

If they have cameras in front of the register then they have you looking out the window leaving and making hand gestures. Equally so they have to have one of the vandals leaving his bike to approach your vehicle or its general direction. You also have the store owner as a witness. So you have the property owner on your side and that counts for something. Plus if these guys act like this that means they surely have one previous incident that was reported. So repeated offenders.
And the gun comment was more of a joke. If your not 100% sold on being able to hold the responsibility of a weapon then its not even worth considering it. The idea is that these guys are all tough and push because they were in a group, If they see a weapon no matter how many people are in that group they would most probably back down. Especially after they broke into your vehicle which would put you in the postion to defend your property.
That aside you option is report it.

I prefer concealed carry (although Ohio allows open carry as well). On those rare occasions when I've felt threatened, I simply pull my shirt up over the handle of the revolver to display it. So far, that's all it has taken to get folks to smarten up and step back.

Wow what a bad situation. Aholes are everywhere. I think the safest solution was to snap off a couple of pictures and like someone else said, call the cops!
They would of jumped in there little crotch rockets and left I'm sure but that would be a better ending than the ambulance having to show up. Easier said than done I understand.

That's a shame. Surprised a lot of people on here don't carry firearms regarding the nature of our cars. Even though now the price of our cars is low, it's the marque that attracts unwanted attention.

Here in the UK, carrying firearms is illegal, I am a long time biker and these look like spoilt kids with attitudes riding big boys toys bought by their parents.
They have no respect, and to be fair probably not much riding talent either. Rest easy that they will probably end up in the ER at some point due to their own stupidity, so f%ck 'em.......

No matter what you decide make sure the bulk of the planning is executing the revenge without DETECTION. Before winter is perfect, your Boxster will be in hiding soon. Maybe you don't need to wreck vehicles and put yourself in police gunsights, see below.
If any of them are married you can use my ultimate eff you that I once plotted against a site manager. Find the married guy in the group. Go to backpage.com, locate hooker phone number and make like you intend on using said service. Last step, send post card to married guy's house from hooker saying she appreciated all the business and she wanted to give him a "heads up" on an address change, include hooker name and phone number to sell it hard.
Let Harley tough guy explain that, then repeat in six weeks, this time with a gay escort.

As a former biker and accident survivor, I used to preach the same sermon Cron but lately all I see from motorcycles is asinine lane changes at rocket speeds and a general sense of road ownership.

I try to have respect for everyone until their actions deem otherwise. However, I have not seen a sensibly driven sport bike in many years, so it's kind of hard to keep the viewpoint that they are not all idiots endangering others.

Did those guys use a credit card to buy anything? They would be easy to match up between camera's timecode and purchases. Anybody would be ok, as they were all accessories to the crime.

What a grand idea! Never even thought of that. Would definitely be well worth pursuing. Even if it's over a cheap plastic interior piece. It may disrupt your life a bit, having to file the paperwork, maybe even do a photo lineup to pick the kid that you caught coming out of your car, but maybe you'll curve their behavior in the future, when they learn there are consequences to their actions. But who knows, could also be a tremendous waste of time.

Ummmmm Missouri is NOT an open carry state! You can carry in the car...but it has to be concealed. You do not need a CCW to carry in the car but it MUST be concealed from outside view. You cannot legally carry on your person, outside the home or car, without a CCW license, and again, it must be concealed. Pulling it out just to intimidate will get you thrown in jail, quickly. It's brandishing and looked down on rather harshly. Don't do it Particleweave. As someone said above...if you pull it you'd beter be ready to use it, and you'd better be justified. You were outnumbered but apparently there wasn't any threat to you personally. (And as a side note..."using it" does not necessarily mean killing the bad guy, as was stated above. ie, putting three center mass vs the legs, etc. There's a big debate/discussion/argument about the pros and cons of both. If you decide to carry, you would be wise to read up on all the issues involved, and there are many. Sorry, this discussion would be better in another thread)
I'm very very sorry about your situation. Again, as someone said above, pepper spray might have been very effective. I carry pepper spray all the time, in addition to my legally concealed .40.
Where in Missouri do you live? Where did this happen? If you're in my area it would help to know where it happened. Maybe we can go out sometime and find those pi@@ants parked outside some bar . hmmmm problem is they probably weren't old enough to get in a bar.
Again, I feel very sorry for this. I know how you feel. I've had idiots pawing all over my Harley and my Boxster, with equal results. None of which were very fun for the perpetrators. But I doubt they do it again. People have no respect at all for other people's property. None. Too bad for them if they try that with someone who has less restraint than you did. I commend you on that. But these little twerps need a serious talking to (he says euphemistically).
Pm me if you wish.
Damm...this got my blood boiling.

Hey Bob. I live just north of you, in St. Joseph(unfortunately). Actually live just outside of town, but work in St. Joe and am a student at Missouri Western. Plenty of douchebags in this town
Thanks for all the helpful replies and advice
Id also like to apologize for my not so subtle language in the first post; I was more than a little pissed and though I still am, I honestly think it may be best to just let it go. This is not a real large city and I don't want any trouble down the road. I'll collect any evidence I can and file a report so it's on record, but probably won't push the matter.

Again I said don't take the gun comment to heart. IT IS A WEAPON NOT A FASHION STATEMENT. If im not mistaken Pwave said he was surrounded at the gas station when he confronted the bikers and later followed and they did apparently harass him on the road. The weapon would have surved as a protection incase these guys weren't all talk but from the looks of it which is 9 out of 10 these guys are all talk.
The point is acting tough can get you hurt but you also have to defend what is yours. Pwave did what the grand majority of us would have done. Unarmed and outnumbered starting something would have ended bad. AND LIKE I SAID BEFORE THE BEST THING TO DO AFTER THEY CAME AT YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN TO CALL THE COPS. call them out and call the cops. but we are way past that point so report the after math an hope for the best, plotting isn't a bad idea either. best of luck and that hooker idea is pretty funny.

I agree, not a fashion statement. My Dad taught me if you are going to carry be prepared to use it. That being said, let them play there little game. This class envy comes from the top down like it did in the 80's. Politicians way to get votes. Let them know how you feel in November by rejecting it. I think they are in for a big surprise....
