Finally finished the roof rack for my Catrike Expedition today.

But first I had to overcome some obstacles. Like discovering that the previous owner (or dealer)
had replaced the driver side rear quarter panel. When I popped the side cover to install the Roof
Transport System rear mounting bracket, this is what I found:

Had to special order the rivnuts (aka nutserts) from Porsche, drill 2 9mm holes in the quarter panel,
use a file to convert the holes to hexagon shaped holes, then used a revnut tool to install the rivnuts.
Finally got it to look like this:

Installed the RTS, then installed my custom made Catrike roof rack onto the RTS. Took it out for a
ride around town at speeds up to 60 mph and everything checked out.

Each wheel is held held in place by two straps for redundancy/safety.

So I got her back together yesterday, and drove her to work today.
Beautiful day, of course my co-worker sent my to Home depot, lucky me, no top=no security. but no one bothered her. stuff fit inside easy....

got back to the site and big boss came by and (basically) fired me,
"leave the site, start your weekend early and report to the office on Monday, we'ill find something for you to do there"...
