Was out doing what the car was born to do (despite the crappy weather).
Funny thing is, on the way down the mountain I passed an identical silver Boxster heading up. Guess he had the same idea. We gave each other a hardy wave.

Installed used GAHH top with glass window. Still some tweaking to do to get it tighter but it's working fine with just a small air leak at speed. Despite the reduced view, it's so much nicer to look into the rear view mirror and not see the distortion from the "fold" in the plastic window.
I also found that putting a couple of clean rags over the rollbars allowed me to wedge the glass window over without scratching to get just about full access for service mode. A bungee is still helpful to keep it from sliding down though.
