Hi fro,

May I ask where did you get your GT3 mk2 bumper?

I saw some of the fibreglass bumpers are sold for 300USD,
Did you get yours on eBay or other place?

I heard somewhere that the rodents don't like them.. Not sure if if it works it not. I hate the smell of mothballs, so I only put them on the outside of the car. If they don't do anything, at least the car will smell April fresh in the spring!

Was going to mothball mine today for the onset of Winter, then the sun came out one more time, so took a last trip up the coast to the Bushmills Whisky Distillery to purchase some provisions for Christmas, really nice sunset to end a perfect day.http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1417385004.jpg

It is sunny and +74F today so we took a 200 mile round trip through the Ozark mountains to get some lunch. Had a great time, a great drive, and am now getting ready for +30F and freezing rain in the a.m.

Bob, you need something a little more resilient than a napkin... Heavy duty shop towel, maybe?
Just a suggestion... :D

Ha! I do. Came on Friday, used cyber Monday free shipping code & 15% off coupon. The LUK kit has Sachs parts like someone here said it would. Money saved will go towards the IMSB if it needs one or flywheel or both.

Washed it and took my oldest to a lacrosse tourney. Stick fit fine in the trunk.

New motor mount installed. Rubber went bad on the original one.

I drove it 40 miles

For the first time since I replaced my engine mount that was falling apart and my two rear trailing arms I got to drive my car finally. The difference was amazing. The shifting seemed very defined , my fiance noticed the lack of vibration when I took it from 2 K rolling up to 6K and it was smooth as silk....the trailing arms completely fixed the annoying noises coming from the rear of the car on small bumps. Now after the wedding to get the rear wheel bearings done and it will be done for the winter.

Mrjako 12-08-2014 03:28 AM

Plastic dip just peels off.

I like plasti dip. Painted my winter wheels on my Audi gray metallic. Last year they were black. Painted the grill & emblems too. Peeling it off is cathartic. My intake grills on my boxter got dipped too. I really want to do a whole car.
