Sorry for the delay! I bought the lights online and followed a Youtube video to install them.

+1 on the led lights. Those are nice!!!

OK, the lights......there is a very fine line between Neat and Cheesy. I am 58 years old and I have to admit I like your lights. Did you have to drill a hole to install these and if so how did you treat the hole to prevent rust in the future ?

Thanks
Dwight[/QUOTE]

Thank you for liking my lights.:D
Yes, I had to drill holes on the bottom of the doors to put the lights in. I followed this video to install them: Install Door Welcome Logo Lights - YouTube

New Aos

I just changed my AOS and cleaned the throttle body now have to put it all back together.

Will probably wash the engine while I have it apart.

Deserion 09-20-2014 05:53 PM

Yesterday I reinstalled the wiper gutter after re-dying it black from the faded gray. Looks good! Also replaced the struts on the frunk as well (trunk is being done today).

Jager 09-20-2014 06:34 PM

Put a new set of tires on the Jägermobile (Pilot Super Sports)... Again. Changed the oil in the Jägermobile... Again. Washed the Jägermobile... Again. When will it ever end?

JayG 09-20-2014 06:53 PM

Put a set of Hankook V12 evo2 on and they feel great.
Only problem is the Mother Fu(k#r's scratched all 4 wheels!
At least they stepped up top the plate and have a top quality wheel repair company coming on Monday to refinish all 4 wheels

My wheels were 8.5 out of 10 before, I guess now they will be 10's

Finished this Tamiya 1:24 scale model which I painted to match my own car.

http://i1045.photobucket.com/albums/...psc9fc1ed2.jpg

Got some dust on the car prior to the pics. The paint actually came out okay. I'm quite rusty and haven't made a plastic model in probably 30 years.

BFeller 09-23-2014 09:38 AM

The model car is great looking. I never learned how to get the dust off a model.

Porsche9 09-23-2014 09:54 AM

The model is pretty cool.

Giller 09-23-2014 10:07 AM

I love this idea! I've looked around for a scale model for my desk at work, but you cannot find one in the right colour (silver/metropol blue). Get a model and paint it! So simple it's brilliant! Thanks!

Test fitted a new-to-me spoiler cap and figured out what I did wrong when installing the last one. Now gotta wait for more rivets from Hendrick Porsche so I can install it.

Added Aux cable and deleted ash tray

I was bummed the ash tray delete didn't come with something to better cover up the star bolts. I'm guessing there is a rubber insert like the ones in the door sill cubbies, but I didn't know to order that.

Any one have a better solution for covering those stars so it looks more finished and they don't collect gunk?

I'm guessing you tapped into the courtesy light in the door rather than going through the trouble of running the wire through the door and to the "dome" light wires?

It should have come with the rubber insert as part of the ashtray delete kit.

Porsche9 09-30-2014 08:17 PM

Just replaced the rocker molding. I ran over someone's alligator (shredded tire) and it ripped off the rubber edge. Got a replacement from the local Porsche auto recycler today and installed the piece today. Just like new.

Right you are. It was doubled-bagged and cleverly disguised as packing material in the bottom of the shipping box. Thanks for mentioning that!

cardiffgiant 10-02-2014 04:39 PM

Paid it off!!

Scheduled an oil change, inspection, horn replacement, and motor mount replacement today, so it looks like another frunk full of dead presidents will be consumed shortly.

BFeller 10-03-2014 07:49 PM

Installed a set of Depo clear tail lights.

Ever since I picked up my beater Boxster it had this rattle, buzzing sound when I played tunes with a lot of bass. I took apart the rear speaker deck and found out why! It looks like the previous owner must have dropped it as I can see where touch up paint was used. I secured the horn area where it was rattling and will figure how to patch the piece missing. At least for now I can play tunes without the annoying sounds.

Last night I de-snorkeled (and I only lost about 1 pint of blood!) and today my clear side markers go on.:)

Dualist 10-04-2014 10:29 AM

Fitted stainless ebay exhaust, god it's loud and drones like a mofo @ 2500.
But 3000+ it's bloody awesome.! Build quality is crap though, pipes not set right in the jig before welding.

Need to sort out the drone, going to cut up my old box, see how it's constructed and make my own free flowing version biased on that.... Then do a stainless version.

TypeA 10-05-2014 06:01 PM

Climbed Mount Hood in the Box today, elevation 5885'.

Yep and it allowed for cold turkey after a pack a day for 20 years. Havent touched the real thing in five years (I was an early vape adopter).

BIGJake111 10-05-2014 07:08 PM

Cleaned up my break callipers (still need a new clear coat,) did some leather treatment, vacuum both trunks, remove hardtop, clean out air filter, give a good once over. Little changes make a big difference though, drives like a new car, http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...e0c6e46cf1.jpg

Did a weekend getaway to Tahoe and Carson City area with our local PCA this weekend. This is how my wheels looked after 700+ miles of driving.
