You're quickly learning the lesson I learned in 2004... buying an old boxster with high mileage for cheap is gonna cost you more than any car you've ever owned before.
Car has 78K, extensive records, was always garaged, and does not seemed to have been flogged. The clutch was going (original) but everything else I did because it seemed like the right time to do it as long as the thing was in the air and apart. I traded a 2001 Corvette for the Box. Wanted to drive a Rolex, not a Timex. The vette was like a T-34 tank compared to the Box.
