Reviving an older thread...

A related question: I've still got a couple quarts of the "old" Syntec. Any opinions as to whether mixing it with the new Edge with Syntec Technology would be an OK idea?

Won't bother anything; the "new" Syntec has a different additive package, the same one used in the Edge line, to meet some new ratings standards, but it is supposed to be 100% compatible with the older product.
