I think it all has to do with your driving style and how often you use the cruise control. I get 19 in the city and at least 21-27 on the highway using the cruise control. I've actually seen the MPG rise and go "up" while driving it with the cruise control on while on the highway. If you use 5th gear or 6th for you "s" owners while on the highway with the cruise control on, you will see this happen.
