Don't be so sure of that.

Needless to say not that Ford or any other Ford has made it into my garage.
Yes the first production models had some suspension problems but, were recalled about 400 or so and fixed. Most supercars first year run has problems. MSRP in 2006, last year of production was $150K. They dropped off a couple months back and some sitting at $139K but, now they're on the rise again and only expected to gain value.

He's looked at the F40 several times and may buy one someday. Personally with a car of that caliber I'd prefer an F40 over a CGT. The F40 has been my dream car since I was a kid, my room was decorated in several different images of the F40. A couple years ago I got the pleasure of actually being able to sit in 140 something. The ultimate road going race car! I wanted to do backflips in this showroom but, I did a good job at containing myself.

Nice choices, love the Audi. If I had the money I think the Audi would make a great addition for some fun driving and track time. Rated very well and I like the unique look. What color is he getting? What color will the 'blade' be? I played around on the website a couple months ago, I think I liked the black with the carbon fiber blade. I don't like too much contrast or it looks a bit weird.

Post some pics when he gets it.

He's thinking white with the carbon fiber blade. Gunmetal or Black wheels and all the exterior pieces such as the grill and vents will also be done in carbon fiber. Give it that monochrome look. There are few cars I like in white but, Porsche's, the Gallardo and the R8 all look good in white. He's not a fan of black cars as they tend to hide the bodylines and who wants to do that.

I think for what he wanted he got a good deal. If I wanted a super race car, Id get the CGT, its the balls. But if I wanted a sweet fast ride I would get those cars. Very nice, im just surprised your dad doesnt have a dedicated race car.

hmm....dedicated race car you say..

89' 3.2L, roll cage, racing seats, completely gutted. The engine just got a full rebuild. They bought the car from some guy in Houston. He is part owner with our Porsche body man being the other, couldn't have picked a better person to buy a race car with.

They said I could run it around the track at the upcoming OctoberFast. I think I'll take them up on the offer.

great call on the Ford....ha....you will rarely here those words come out of my mouth....I think its a great car, I am guessing he didn't get the Mach 5 looking paint job, too bad, I do have a soft spot for it....

I can't say I like anything about the audi, a fan of the CGT but in the end...he's got 2 great cars....instead of 1 great ca....and if his heart wasn't sold on the CGT, then he's winning by buying what HE wants.....post pics!
