It sounds like the cables need a little fine tuning adjustment, just stay on your mechanic until he gets it right. From what I understand, it is somewhat of a PITA to get all of the cable adjustments...

JD you are correct the RUF bumper came with all of its own ducting but I am pretty sure that it used the factory undertray as I do not have a spare laying around my garage from the original install

I agree the wrap will not be for everyone, it only cost me $100 to put it on, so I really consider this to be a test run as I can always just peel it off.

All is well, I haven't blown an engine in a while so I am very happy. I have survived with adding just the X51 oil pan, but I should probably add an accusump at some point for the added security...

I am slightly off, there are baffles in the 986 oil pan, I was looking at a pic of just the replacement oil pan which doesn't show the baffles in the pic, but the X51 oil pan is an improved version...

If the accusump is too much for you, you can always add an X51 oil pan which has baffles in it to keep the oil from accumulating away from the oil pickup during high g turns. I blew my first engine...
