there was an an appeal filled... settlement wad deemed "fair" but excluded 2001, 2002, and 2003 MY because over the ten year clause. So really only included a subset of 2004 and 2005... and then only...

Any new info here? I skimmed the settlement... seems like a pretty poor deal for porsche owners, especially if you bought used or have a MY 2003 or earlier.

two boxster in my neighborhood and both are on the second engine. What bothers me is that I got the 2005 + replacement engine that was supposed to be the "fix".
Now that 2005s are failing...yikes.

My first Boxster was a project - bought it under a tarp and nine inches of snow.
Plenty of surprises, some dumb mistakes that became good stories, and plenty of fun.

and ended up with Zimmerman rotors. Only rotor that seemed to work on my A6.
I used EBC Yellow Stuff for pads no noise and no problems.
But got them from a Cayman owner and they did not have the...
