YES!

Also, IIRC, I drilled some extra holes under the cap where the oil drains into the container

I tried both of these....an eight inch diameter is doable if you are careful. The advantage here is the oil is all packed up and ready to go right after you drain it.

Yes I was able to do it on ramps as long as I slid under on cardboard like an animal :eek. I did get a tie down to the eye and nose....
