i think it was gonolaus (sp?) that was able to fit the 3.4 intake under the 987 cover. if you do want to lower, it is just spacers between the engine mount and the chassis. note that the spacers will require longer studs (or bolts). you have about 1/2" play before the transmission mounts need to drop as well. in this case you need to switch to 993 engine mounts as there is insufficient thread on the oem units for any lowering.
