Hi y'all! I'm about to purchase an exhaust from Che and would like to know if anyone here (from San Jose, CA.) knows or would recommend a shop that would install the exhaust i'm getting from Che...
I made a decision to get the exhaust to Che after spending a good an hour and a half reading the thread

I just wanted to let everyone know that I received my exhaust from Che today. He received my payment on Monday and shipped out the next day. Very quick response. Further, Che replied to my questions very quickly and kept me informed of my order. It certainly is comforting to know there are quality people to do business with.
The exhaust came well packaged and no damage. As noted earlier, Che even marked where the holes needed to be drilled on the mounting. Hopefully this weekend I will get it installed. I plan on making some before and after sound clips to share.

Stock vs. After market muffler weight wise.
Does anybuddy have the savings in weight over the stock muffler from any of the various aftermarket offerings?

Yes. Adding an aftermarket muffler to a Boxter is ALWAYS about sound. Side benefits not often considered are lighter weight in the tail of the car and less residual heat. Performance with the stock rig is already excellent. So if you like it to sound a little rough... go for it. Personally I kinda like that sewing machine sound.

Exhaust installed YEAH!!!
Wow, what a nice difference in sound, not too loud but very nice roar. Got a professional muffler shop to do the install with me supervising every step. Final cost for install $80! Up next are the headers and Evo intake and some new performance spark plugs.
I would have to say that Che's product are very nicely made and quality is super. Wont hesitate to buy from him at ALL! Very satisfied
