Hey Insite. I see you have been a long time member and contributor to this forum, and also live in Atlanta. I live here as well and am currently leaving the world of Miata's and searching for my first Boxster. I have read quite a bit on the forum and other places about what to look for. Just wondering if you have any recommendations in the Atlanta area. I'm looking in the 12K to 16K price range, could go as high as 20K for the right one. Appreciate any wisdom you care to impart.

Hello insite, I saw on another post you stated that a hyper extended slave cylinder could be reassembled. I did this to mine. A new one. And I don't see a way to lock it all in place. I got the parts jumbled as I removed them from the bell housing area. I don't see any type of snap ring or keeper. Can you offer any advice?

Hello insite - I remember a while ago that you were getting ready to do an "AC Delete" on your track car. Do you happen to still have the AC system. I am interested to purchase it. Please advise and thanks in advance. PS: I bought my car from the UK with no AC /Climate Control installed. Just the blower.

Insite, I read your DIY on cam timing and it was very helpful! Nice job! I have a question for you as you seem very knowledgeable in M96 timing. When bank 1-3 is at TDC compression the intake cam indicator is pointed 90* outward. I then timed bank 1 and the marks on the exhaust cam were perfectly parallel to the cam cover seam.

Now at this moment bank 1-3 is timed- what should the mark on the intake cam of 4-6 be? Should it be pointing inward?

I rotated the crank 1 rotation and checked my timing marks on the exhaust of 4-6 were parallel with the cam cover (they are) and the intake mark for 4-6 was pointing outward which tells me it was at compression?

I started the car and it runs very rough like its only running on 3 cylinders. bank 1-3 exhaust manifold got warm, but bank 4-6 remained cold.

If my marks seem to line up and I 360 out on bank 4-6?

Thanks for any help/advice you can give!
