Looks photoshopped to me but the Japanese are into those weird looking exhaust. Might be from there.

FabSpeed posted this on another web site calling a noise abatement exhaust for Sebring, I think more it is about April 1st.

I'm pretty sure that exhaust is an option on diesel Porsches. The package includes airhorns.

While the original photo is an April Fools joke, there are a lot of real ones out there! This approach is fairly common at sound restricted race tracks like Laguna Seca. Do a search on "Laguna exhaust" and you'll find many more examples...
