Is the problem that the clutch is slipping with the pedal released? Or is the problem that you can't get the car into gear?

If the pedal is slipping, there isn't proper clamping force on the clutch disk, because for some reason the pressure plate diaphragm isn't completely unloaded. You may have installed the wrong part, as people have suggested, or installed the parts incorrectly. The release bearing can be tricky to seat on the release fork sometimes. Or, less likely, the disk has contamination (oil) on it. You most likely have to take the car apart again to resolve this issue.

However, if you can't get the car into gear, the clutch isn't releasing all the way. Most likely cause is that there is air in the hydraulic system. Try bleeding the slave cylinder. Hopefully this is the issue!
