dghii Registered User Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: Florida Posts: 2,497	I did the detent on my 2000S a few years and about 12K miles ago. It completely solved the occasional popping out of second gear issue. Full disclosure, motor mount and gear oil had already been changed when I did my 90K mile service.
