Nobody answered my question. So i do it myself.

The old side dampers have a thickness of 5,25 mm.

The new side dampers have a thickness of 8,3 mm. Black rubber part is 4 mm. Vanilla rubber part is 4,3 mm. So the 987 dampers are a lot thicker.

Old style ones are made of TE(PESTUR), new style ones are made of TE(PESTUR) and PUR.

PUR = Polyurethane
TE(PESTUR) = Polyesterurethane

First i was wondering in which direction i should to press in the new mount. But after some thinking i understood which direction i is right. You have to orientate on the rubber in the bearing.

Price for 2 new style 987 side dampers was 32,46 euros.

Regards
Markus
