Thanks for posting your results. I'm scheduled for 8/19 to have Jake install a UDP and do a dyno run to see what it added for hp/torque.

Definitely report back the results. I'm guessing 5 to 7 hp up top based on my butt dyno.

Will do. I have a baseline dyno run from Jake when I originally picked up the car. Since then I have added headers/performance cats, eliminated the rear cats and added a Dansk bananna muffler. When I get to Jakes on 8/19 we will do another dyno run to see what effect the exhaust changes made. Then he will install the UDP and we'll do another dyno run to see what changes that made. I will share all that data with the crowd here it's just good info to know.

Your car lies to you.. (not joking) what Porsche has the gauge reading? and what the actual temp is? Two different things. Plug in with a PIWIS one day and look at both. You'll see. The BMW guy's deal with the same issue Porsche *wants* you to believe what is on the gauge. It's BS after 195.

I mount data temp sensors within a few inches of the factory temp sensor.. so I have other info coming in. I regular see 205-215 in 2.5 race cars with 3rd radiator. The BoxsterS cars with the 3.2 will go 220 all day (but read a nice steady 195 on the gauge)

The 987's are even worse

Interesting. Do you have experience with UDPs in terms of impact on coolant temps? Guessing a lot of the 2.5 race cars have UDPs and if coolant temps was a problem would the stock pulley be better or does it even matter? Thanks.
