UDP and 111 degree heat

Just curious, how long were you in traffic? I know the low speed fans turn on with the AC, which explains why the engine temp would very slowly creep up to the 8 and then stay there.

If I am in traffic for 30-45 mins (95 deg., very slow moving) without AC, the gauge will move to the right inner side of the 0 and then the low speed fans turn on (about 212F according to obd2), then turn off at 201-203F, then the process repeats.

I'm curious if the same thing will happen to you with the AC off/with the UDP.
