paulv Registered User Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 221	I've assumed that your do this for your '00 Boxster ( which is DME 7.2). The oil temperature is checked by the DME because codes P0197 and P0198 are thrown for below/above limits (oil temp is used for cam adjustments).
