I've done more research than anything else. But, the only possibilities that I've been able to come up with are Lucas Fabrication, M&K Exhaust and Fabspeed. It seems like Fabspeed's pipe diameters won't work for me.

Nice people, but they mostly specialized in hot rods and muscle cars. Also, they mainly use off the shelf products like Dynomax and Magnaflow. Not that there's anything wrong with those brands. However, the average weight of a small race muffler or resonator from them weighs between 7 lbs. - 8 lbs. That's extremely heavy in comparison to what's being used in the catback systems that I've mentioned. Also, there's a company in NJ that manufactures some beautiful exhaust components by the name of East Exhaust. Still, someone has to be able to design and fabricate an exhaust in accordance with the requirements of a 986 boxster.

Not likely as Greg Loles shut things down a few years back and instead got (or is getting) into the car license plate making business...

Oh, didn't hear that over here on the left coast!

Did you right coast guys hear Gemballa CA U.S. shut down?

JD I would look into some Coast Fab mufflers & maybe SS tubing bends to get you started & find someone close to you to assemble everything.

Here is the exhaust I built for my Boxster that I will be racing in ITR with SCCA. It will not fit with a 6spd trans. Right now it has a megaphone on it. I am pretty sure it will not pass sound so I am ordering a muffler for.

Not just US. Similar story... except Uwe was laundering not embezzling $ (well maybe both) and he was found shot to death in South Africa(? IIRC). Great stuff until then though...

Coast is another manufacturer of high quality, light weight exhaust components. But, who's going to build the exhaust ? Furthermore, who has the knowledge and experience to design the optimal system ?
