3.2L oil transducer plug in left cylinder bank?

As far as I can see with the material I have found, the Boxster has its pressure switch in the right bank. I am pretty sure many have put in a 996 sender in that spot (working from above I had thought). Are you saying any type of adapter will cause height interference???? I was planning to use an autometer m14 x 1.5 male to 1/8 NPT to work with an AEM sensor. Not entirely sure of the thread size in the head yet. There doesnt seem to be any information on the output of the 996 sender; it has to be compatible with the gauge so I am stuck using another sensor and gauge

Thread is 14mm X 1.5 & Boxster sending unit is on pass side & there is alot more room there than driver side. I put the aftermarket sending unit on my drivers side (temporally) so as not to interfere with oem warning light.

Thanks that is great info. This may mean I will loose the idot light if I put temp and pressure transducers in the left and right cam covers.

It would be nice to test the output of the 996 sender and match it to a gauge that works with the look of the car.

Did you actually get a temp sensor with an adapter to fit on the passenger side?

Witch gauge sensor combo did you use?
