MY97 15/ 50W is very good oil for down to 50 degrees.

If you do not see lower temperatures then that, I would say it would be "ok."

I beleive the more cushion you have between your bearings and your journals, the better off you will be in the long run.

I have done some research into oil's and there does not seem to be a big problem with Valvoline.

I have heard some racers complain of Castrol wearing the valve guides.

They recommend Valvoline, so I run Valvoline.

I personally have encountered Castrol oil worsening oil leaks. since there seems to be a propensity for RMS type leaks. I would stay away from it.
