As I was waiting for the patient to be stabilized enough for transport last night I remembered this discussion. Straight line acceleration is great, but the rapid decel on the other end can suck. 19 years old. ...not sure if they could get him put all back together at the hospital.

Speed never killed anyone. It's the rapid deceleration that can get you.

Surprised the cab looks as good as it does based on how the rest of the truck looks. Poor kid and poor family of that kid.
