The 9x7 shifter is very nice, and in my opinion ben's shifter is the next level. It does have a rifle bolt like feel that the 9x7 shifter doesn't have.

Some folks have indicated that there might be an adjustment period when adapting to a short shifter, but I didn't feel any, after just one day I am totally adjusted and I love it!

Just picked up my Boxster after having Ben's shifter installed.

I will say it feels stiffer -- definitely a shorter throw. I'll be heading to CoTA this weekend, so I will see how it feels on track.

I think its going to take me (and maybe it) a bit of time to break in, but I can certainly see how it could be better than the stock shifter.
