I checked the voltage where I connected the shift knob. I have 12v with the car running and the headlights on. But still no light from the shift knob. I've emailed the seller, we'll see what happens next.

Make sure you didn't pinch one of the wires. I'll check if I can see how I connected the wires before I bring the car into the shop tomorrow.
