First time at Sonoma Raceway in the Boxster

Had two day event at Sonoma mid October and shared the car with my wife. With the threat of rain - I decided to go with a new set of R888's instead of the slicks I have. Needless to say - it didn't rain much but it was damp and foggy in the am and quite slick.

This is a vid from my second session on Saturday. Still feeling out the car and the track. Best time of the session was a 1:56 or so. The second day I had passengers in the car during all my sessions - but felt much better. Can't wait for another full day out there. I feel even with the R888's I can get down into the low 1:50's.

Thanks - something to shoot for. It's by far my favorite track of the three up here in Norcal - doesn't hurt that it's 30 minutes away either.
