No reason to re-invent the wheel. Try these time tested upgrades...

If I were to buy another boxster and want some serious grunt from it, i'd buy a roller for under 5K, put a 3.4l in it, rip out that 500lbs of wiring, carpets and other stuff
and go have some fun on the track.
