Do we have a thread going for details about the TOD meeting in May? Count me in for the trip!

Details such as:
1) Is the plan to meet up for the day on the 5th, hang out that night and start heading back on the 6th? Or be there for driving/hanging out on the 5th and 6th?
2) Are we allowed to invite others that are interested in a fun trip but may drive an alternative vehicle like a M3?
3) Who is going?

We don't have an official thread yet because I wanted to have some firm details about lodging options, etc. However, I'm more than willing to chime in here and tell you what I'd love to see:

1. Meet up on the morning of the 5th at some restaurant on one end or the other for breakfast quite early so we can drive it before it gets thick with bikes and cars. At this breakfast, we can decide what we want to do, where to meet for dinner that night, etc.

2. My buddy, who owns a MR2 Spyder with a V6 in it, instigated all this in the first place. So, I'd say we must accomodate anyone in anything fast enough to keep up. Hopefully, my buddy won't feel this same way because his Spyder's performance is well beyond my boxster, that's for sure! I'd love to see some M3's join us. Lord knows we're the "nice, un-snooty" Pcar owners and not at all like those arrogant air-cooled 911 owners who won't even flash their lights or wave at me when I drive by.

3. Who's going? I dunno. At least 6 of us from what I know, and it will probably be a lot more once we get some firm details posted.

What I think I will do is to put up a new page on my web site and ask Rich to put a link on the front page so everyone can go to it and see what's up. This may work better than a thread by itself and we can then start an official thread as well.

Ohioboxster: I am sorry I hijacked this thread. So, in honor of you, I will try to find a non-smoking restaurant for the trip!

I do not know and frankly, I do not care. That's why God put Michael Valentine on this planet.
