That was it. Pulled the connectir and ran a ground lead and a positive lead. Buttoned it back up and it works. I need to do some more plasti dip in there, but that will get me pass inspection.

Hi sorry to drag this thread up from the dead, but I seem to have the same problem, and am an idiot when it comes to electrics/wiring - what did you do that solved the problem? Was it just cleaning the socket that was required?
