This is only a test.....

If this had been an actual emergency, you would have been instructed to tune to one of the broadcast stations in your area."

And nice car!

Sorry, on this one I'd have to give it a thumbs down. This look just doesn't work for me, but then again, it just me. If you like it, go for it.

Regarding the EAS...I think this should be phased out. In today's hyper-connected world, in the event of an emergency, chances are you would know before an EAS message. I've always thought that the "test" message should read: THIS IS ONLY A TEST. IN THE EVENT OF A REAL EMERGENCY, YOU WOULD ALREADY KNOW....WHICH MAKES US REDUNDANT. WE NOW RETURN YOU TO REGULAR PROGRAMMING, THAT IN THE EVENT OF AN ACTUAL EMERGENCY WOULD HAVE BEEN PROVIDING MUCH BETTER INFORMATION, WHICH WE WOULD HAVE CUT OFF. ALSO, WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THIS OUTDATED PROGRAM WITH YOUR TAX DOLLARS. THIS MESSAGE WILL NOW REPEAT THREE TIMES, AND WE WILL BE RUNNING THIS TEST AGAIN TOMORROW. WHY? BECAUSE WE CAN, AND YOU CANT STOP US.

Sorry... too great of a segue. BTW, you should close out your top thread with final thoughts, impressions and headaches. I would be interested to hear if you would do it again, and what it's like to live with.

I'm after retro look so different taste from yours, but looks good to me!

I'm also wondering about painting or wrapping hood in different color than body. A silver 904 with green hood is somehow stuck in my head...

Keep going!

Wrapping the hood, especially with CF look vinyl is a challenging job and is best done with two people. The top 2/3 is fairly easy, but as you get to the compound curves of the lower nose you need judicious, but patient, heat to get it to lay down properly without creases and bubbles. Pay attention very closely to not over stretch the CF or it will wind up not having the proper alignment and it will look odd and random instead of nice and straight. Not a very easy one. Plain colors would be easier, but still challenging.

I'm finding this out. That is actually a black with silver metallic. It depends on the wrap too. The graphite I did the other day wasn't bad at al, 3M.
The black was from eBay and when pulling on it it ripped right at the beginning. It eas brittle and broke very easy.

live and learn.😀

No doubt. The expensive stuff is BY FAR more forgiving and can self repair amazingly well.
