I think a lot of your case depends on the year and over all condition of the car and how much the insurance company will give you. It could all be fixed, and probably reasonably. If they'll pay you less than the totalled price, take it and keep the car. If it's totalled, let them take it, it will have a restored or salvage title which radically reduces the value of the car. The title is the big thing.

You are allowed to shop around for repairs. Maico could repair and replace and match the color. I have liked my dealing with them (tho every franchise is different.) They've done really good work for me.:dance:
