Gee Thanks.....Now instead of puking at the thought I can Puke at the real thing. There are zero lines that make sense on that car.

Here's a thought; The whale tail looks good only because those fender flares look so bad.

I think it would look better with a 993 turbo style wing. I'm not a huge fan of the big rubber lip on the older cars. Having said that, its kinda pointless because it doesn't actually cool the car like its meant to. Interesting nonetheless.

This thing isn't that bad at all. I'm a bit of a purist but this is all rather "Porsche."

I approve. Few boxsters look that good after that much modification. I specifically enjoy the wheels and color choice.

If a mod makes you happy, then go for it. No one else has to drive it.
That said, I think it destroys the lines, the whale tale is way too square.

Not for me.
Any data on how well it ventilates the trunk?

Can you imagine how light the front end feels at speed?

Or at least it should increase the trunk capacity. Also did they add really strong air springs so the trunk would stay open?

Maybe you could fit a big oil cooler in there...

Bigger sin, IMHO, is hanging flares on it and not spacing the wheels out. Nice color though.

I like the color of the car, maybe it has a dual purpose. It could be used for a luggage rack too, lol.

I kind of like it. It would probably look better without the vents. If you had one without the vents, you could increase the trunk volume.
If you're going to modify your car, you might as well go all the way. I think it works with the wide fenders.

I like it but I think it is a "whole" package deal. The color/stripe/wheels all give a older vibe

like the concept, but struggle with the big gap between the end of the roof and the start of the whale tail; wonder what it would look like on a cayman?

One of the rules that Porsche designers/engineers live by is form follows function. In the case of this whale tail, what function does it provide? Certainly not cooling or air flow, maybe some down force. And why the vents? It is not rear engined or air cooled.

Sometimes less is more and in this case way less would make more sense.

Now, add turbo or supercharging with the plumbing and intercoolers where the trunk is . . . and now you have a reason for the vents and tail.
