I'll have you know we are driving the top tier Porsche that comes with a conventional engine in the middle,
only two seats and soft top!! Heck not even all the Porsches since the 986 have even come with Porsche engines (cough Cayenne)... Consider yourself lucky sir!
But to your orginal point, I think an entry level Cayenne was cheaper than a base Boxster by a couple hundred at one point.
