Boxster S 3.2 2001 manual or Boxster 2.7 2004 triptronic

I am almost done for the deal of Boxster S 3.2 2001 manual, and another car came up in my eyes......Boxster triptronic 2004 both cards are black with grey leather almost same mileage 80k.

What are the most reliable engine? what are the differences from 2001 and 2004 in engineering area and in car in general

Manual or triptronic? as weill good question.....
