What is the weirdest comment you've ever gotten?

What is the weirdest thing someone has ever said to you while driving your Porsche?
Here is my story:

Being a younger guy (early 20's) I've gotten ''daddy's car'' a couple of times to which I just shrug it off and laugh. Without doubt the weirdest thing anyone has ever said to me was from a mid 40's woman, asking me to see my left thumb. Confused I rolled down my window and let her examine it, to which she replied '' Ah it all makes sense now, it is in your blood why the sky is blue.'' Then she ran away.

I've never been the same since that day. LOL |

2:00 am, about 10 hours after I bought my Boxster in Texas, I was at a Shell station in Kansas. I was standing in front of it, just admiring the lines when a beat up old 4 door Toyota sedan rolled up next to me. The guy had his window down and with that nice mid west accent said "I don't blame you man, I'd be looking at it like it was a woman too!"

Getting gas in my car. Came out from getting a drink, sandwich and paying for gas to pump a guy at the pump in a SUV behind me said "That's a nice parking job. I guess all Porsche owners park like douchebags. I just said to him, my parking job is fine. It's douchbags like you that don't know Porsche puts the gas tank at the front of their cars.
 End.

Did he call you a douchebag? I was ready to throw down with the fat little SUV jack ass comment. I even started walking towards him and all he said was "OK!" no apology.

Last Saturday evening I stopped at the local convenience store to grab a Mtn Dew. As I parked my $18,000 16 year-old 996, 2 Rednecks in their new $60,000, 3/4 ton, 4x4 Ford diesel crew cab, jacked-up BroDozer parked about two stalls away and went inside.
I grabbed my Dew and ended up in line next to them, where Redneck #1 was holding a case of beer.

Just to make conversation, I said to #1 "Looks like you guys have a good evening planned."

Redneck #2 kinda sneered at me and said "Yeah. We're just going home with our ol' ladies and drinking beer. We ain't no rich guy out cruising town in our Porch."

I just chuckled and said "Well, you guys enjoy your evening."

I didn't know I was a rich guy driving a Porch.

I had a young women in her 20's offer me things that shouldn't be offered to happily married men in their early 50's. (and yes, I turned her down, but I did appreciate the offer!)

A fellow crossing the street says to me with a smile: Well I guess you worked hard all your life and now you can reward yourself with a Porsche! I hesitated to tell him that I paid twice as much for my Kia than for the Box. Mind you, the Kia is paid for but I don't think that the Porsche will ever stop removing the money from my wallet!

Funny enough, I never have gotten the daddies car comment even though I deserve it much more than all of you.
On the topic of filling up I always feel odd parking to fill up. Of all the odd things on the Porsche the location of the gas filler may be the only one that makes me feel "different" haha.

I love the ignition being on the left though! And also love the puzzled looks when I use the front trunk.

Ah, but you're not old and once drove a VW Beetle. Makes me feel young, but not different.

I am, BTW, not old enuff to have owned a Beetle where you had to open the front (only) trunk to access the gas filler.

I am. First car - '62 Beetle in 1974. You had to pop the front trunk to get to the gas filler.

It held 10 gallons of 50 cent/gallon gas!

Guy in a brand new Beetle Turbo pulls up next to me at A red light and says he couldn't afford a Porsche so he just bought the poor man's Porsche. Little does he know he paid more for his Beetle then I did for my Boxster.
