Stripes looks good, I think black stripes look killer on a red car
Wish I had a tricked & white pcar... I'd do something in the line of that. (pwave will kill me for posting that lol). Nice subtle black stripes with a color flare...

Fred - you know how you're doing some work for me for a couple of my projects?
You will see these livery colors again.
Just sayin'...

It's insanely beautiful. I have enormous respect for those who pushes 'ordinary' to the next level. Ordinary, boring, call it what you want... you know what I mean
Looking forward Rick, can't wait to see your work in all honesty

Go for it. It's just a piece of vinyl. If you don't like it, simple peel off and continue as if nothing happened. Or maybe you can decide if you only want the hood and a portion of the bumper, different more muted color, etc. And there's nothing more classic than the Martini livery.
Don't listen to any of the people who think Porsches show roll around like just off the showroom. Porsches are probably the most modified German sports cars you'll find. Even the factory modify their own cars by putting aero bits or fenders on this non-turbo car, offering graphics for the doors, "black editions", custom colors. Ferry Porsche's personal one off 2.7 had custom door graphics and some one off mint green color.

I say do it! The trick will be to get the colors right and not go too far overboard with the graphics. Done well it will look awesome and you'll have a one of a kind.

Here you go. A quick photoshop job. Not too much racing stripe. Just enough to personalize your Boxster.

I don't care for the look, sorry you asked for opinions. The car is very bright to begin with I think the stripes look good on white cars, adds some bling but the red is already blinged. Whatever you decide enjoy and make it your own!

I think it looks fantastic.
However, if you are going that route, do it like you mean it with the Martini sticker and side stuff. Not just the stripes on the hood.
Even better is the one below in my opinion.
Just love those racy looking things.
Variety is the spice of life.
Go for it!!!

The original poster had a red car. Mine is black and soon will be charcoal (dark gray) metallic.
