Spi locks needed

Anyone in the la/oc area have a used set of hardtop spin locks? Pending a color match of arctic silver I am probably buying a hardtop on Tuesday and would like to put it on the car where I buy it. Is there a big difference between polar and arctic silver? The photos I was sent seem to match but not positive. Tried to load them here but they wont

Spin locks are easy to buy online, but probably rare used. Good luck. Yes, Arctic and Polar silver metallic are different. Doesn't the seller of the hard top know what color it is?

He has no idea. its from his friends car I guess. I was just looking for a set I would have by Tuesday morning I'll probably just go to the dealer tomorrow

About 6 years ago I did buy "used" spinlocks and put them on the car. Never did get around to buying the hardtop.

So they are out there. Just the wrong time to be looking for anything associated with winterizing.

Polar silver is supposed to have more of a blue tint to it. I almost bought a hardtop off eBay once but could not get a confirmation of color. I figured there was a label or something on the hard top but apparently not.

they are tricky to install, ended up taking mine to be installed at indy took 10 min. so dont think they just spin in. 40 bucks pelican parts

I will probably borrow a truck to pick it
Up now so I can take my time getting the locks and installing it.

You could get the top home without the spin locks. You can lock it in at the front much like the soft top and then just drive home on surface streets keeping it below 40 and keep the window up.

I did this to get the top home and drove it this way for about 5 miles.

You are going to love the hardtop. Don't forget to treat the rubber with something like Gummipledge. I didn't and the squeeking drove me nuts.
