How often do you hit the rev limiter?

Anybody that has ever done any racing knows of what we speak. It's a red mist thing and our respective repair shops thank us for it.

Never. The engine doesn't want to go past 6000 and the power falls off abruptly thereafter anyways. I say all of this based on 'how it feels'. I've heard you should shift at a point where the following shift finds the torque peak- makes sense but I trust my ear. Now racing is different...

Oh and BTW don't forget these engines have oil starvation issues...
