Panorama magazine?
Anyone get this? Worth reading?
Do you subscribe separately from PCA membership?

I get it as part of PCA membership. I think it's a good read, and PCA membership is a great value.

I rarely read it , but I'll have a flick through looking at pictures .
Pm me your address and I'll post you a couple to look through)
Pca membership is a must IMHO .
Use the discount for parts and service at the dealers amongst other places , and you're practically guaranteed a place at auto crosses and they are normally 15-20 cheaper for pca members .
2 for 1 membership means the cost of 3 years membership for me and Debbie was more than covered in the last fortnight alone for us .
(Service on carrera , suspension parts for boxster , and 2x autocross days .)

I get it as part of my PCA membership and it is a good read, imo better than the SCCA magazine which seems to be mostly about racing.
You also get a few discounts with PCA membership, 10% off hpde track insurance, and I think a discount at dealerships for service and parts.
I like it and have renewed it.

I am with you Bro. The magazine is great and the club in general is awesome.
They are disorganized as hell in some chapters but still totally worth to join it.

I have also heard very good things about "Excellence" magazine but haven't had a chance to check it out. My son got a few issues of Grassroots Motorsports and it was pretty good.

Free with PCA membership. Membersip is $45 a years. The magazine has some good articles, a decent number of items for sale, and some good race speciffic venders.

I get the magazine with my PCA membership and its definitely worth reading.
Seems to me that PCA needs to decide if Panorama is going to be a national magazine focused on Porsche matters in general OR a membership magazine focused on the regions. Right now, its a bit of a mess trying to be all things to all people.
As a licensed racer, I also get the PCA Club Racing magazine and like its singular focus on track events.

Worth reading. See comments above. Join PCA and get the regional newsletter. The uality will vary, but I really like the Golden Gate Region Nugget. Subscribe to Excellence and you will have a good fix on Porsche news and events.

I think it has gotten better since I subscribe in 2006. If in the pca (and local), you should consider:
irpca.org
They also have a FB page, too.

It's a very good magazine, and has improved over the last 18 months. (New editor, new format.)

The PCA membership is worth it to me The dealer gives me %10 discount and one trip pays for my membership. I enjoy reading the magazine and the region I'm in puts out a decent monthly magazine too. I know lots of guys save thiers, I save them and send them to a tease a buddy that lives a few hours away. I put them in a brown paper mail envelope and in big red letters write "ADULT MATERIAL" and "PORSCHE PORN" on the envelope and mail it to his office. LOL He gave up hang gliding a two years ago and I think he's going to be in a Porsche very soon.

I think it's a classy publication and I like the new format. As a member, you should be receiving it monthly. My June edition arrived in the post today.

Terrific magazine and club, coming from a 20+ year PCA member. Pano became much better after Pete Stout took over as editor (formerly editor of "Excellence", my most favorite magazine). Worth the $45 a year membership and a portion goes back to your local region to support activities.
