Let the 80's role IMO. A little Bryan Adams Summer of 69 followed by some Huey Lewis. Anything harder seems to make the car go too fast - those songs seem to sing nicely within legal speed limits!

With the top up/commuting, I end up listening to podcasts.

Top down is another story all together....

Oingo Boingo
Offspring
Police
Beatles
The Clash
Guns and Roses
Nine Inch Nails
Led Zepplin
Beach Boys
The Cure
Just about anything "alternative" from the 80's

I listen to a lot of the same stuff. 80s alt rock is my fav. Lately I've been listening to the New Order station I created on Pandora, but I also listen to 1st wave on XM a lot. Takes me back to growing up in Los Angeles and listening to KROQ.

Too funny. I worked at KROQ in the late 80's early 90's. Grew up in Orange County and it was always KROQ or 91X

Kinda cool. Both KROQ and KROQ HD2 stream through my iPhone. I find myself listening to them both in the Boxster just for nostalgia every now and then.

When I work in my garage, which up until recently is quite a bit, it's always streaming KROQ. I've built quite a few air cooled VW engines with KROQ as the soundtrack. Just wish they'd stop playing the God awful Chili Peppers so often. I get it. They're an LA based band. Doesn't make them any less played out.
