Black strobe - Folsom prison blues (the lisp or whatever fits the car)

"Sand dance" by temples

"Into the void" by nine inch nails (you have to have some period music!)

Angel - shaggy (period music)

Three last links for some interesting songs

Jega
Infected Mushroom
Glitch Mob
Boreta
Kraddy
Mochipet
Matty G

Nothing quite like 70's hard rock

Anything like this for cruising around, although the flat 6 symphony rocks it out really nice in the twisties.

I was 10 when this was released.

Haven't had my car for that long. But, so far it's "Johnny Guitar", From Johnny Winter's "Hey, Where's Your Brother?" album. Tends to make you pick up speed.

On the rare occasion I want to listen to music in a Boxster, I have a few depending on my mood:

Get It To Go (Maynard Ferguson)
I'm Gonna Live Til I Die (Frank Sinatra version)
William Tell Overture (Gioachino Rossini)
Clutch (The Seatbelts)
Tunak Tunak Tun (Daler Mehndi)
Guitar Boogie (Tommy Emmanuel)
Midnight Blue (Kenny Burrell)
LaGrange (ZZ Top)
Take Your Love And Shove It Up Your Big Fat Ass! (Joe Pesci)

I either end up tuning out the music or have nothing but the engine revs

Yep, had to change it up from the opposite side..............

Love a deadhead sticker on a Porsche! Years ago I had a jet black Toyota Celica GT. I have Dead banner sticker across the rear window. Long story short I got stopped in the middle of nowhere in the Everglades crossing the Tamiami Trail at night by a cop that was sure I had drugs in the car. I gave permission for a search of my car because I had nothing to hide and 2 hours later I was able to leave. My first experience with profiling.

I think this thread needs a resurrection.

Also this is my favorite song to listen to when sitting in the car with it off before leaving, particularly on cloudy mornings.

Radio off and flat 6 revving behind me. That's the best song I like to hear.

Most likely not a good thing since I don't need encouragement to go fast but I generally prefer songs with a quicker tempo such as...

Classic Rock
Queen - Don't Stop me- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgzGwKwLmgM
The Spencer Davis Group- Gimme Some Lovin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iv6Q-v-94Lo
Nazareth - Son of a ******************** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDa1W9CE7L8

Modern Rock
Clutch - Electric Worry https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAHO-trROm8
Wolfmother - Women https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQPNredrDO0
The Black Keys - Lonely Boy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_426RiwST8

And when im really feeling crazy, Electronic
Benny Benassi - Turn me up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ar9nV76YIxc
Jean Elan - Killer When The Lights Go Out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yO0l-1O2j_Q

but meh 4 years or Porsche ownership under my belt and 0 speeding tickets *knock on wood*
