You know you're a Porsche owner when... $75 for a part that runs $10 or less on your other vehicles seems like a good deal; and so you buy 2 or 3 of them so you will have spares for when it breaks again.

When driving to the doctor for a sinus infection still makes you grin (Yes, that's what I did today. I almost didn't stop when I got to the Dr's office since I was feeling so much better just from driving)

Every corner is an opportunity for a heel-and-toe downshift and a perfect apex.

You know you're a 986 owner when

(I tweaked the title a bit for mine)

You wake in the morning and check new posts on 986forum.

You freak out about catastrophic engine failure posts.

You move the Porsche into a different spot in the garage and realize you better run it long enough to get up to temp.

You enjoy the drive so much you head out for a long drive.

You park it and realize its great fun and need to drive it more.

When you spend 5 hours and several hundred dollars on Saturday fixing some problem. Then take it for a drive with the top down on Sunday because it's still your favorite car.

When first up at red light your not just driving, your racing.

for that matter, you dont take the Porsche for "a drive", you take it racing even when its your DD.

when going through the twisties, you check the mirror to see if the honda behind you made it as well

You turn down the music to enjoy the song your exhaust is playing.

When you spend more time and money on it than you do on the daily driver that makes you your living. That's me, my p car is mint always and i don't begrudge a penny. Can't say the same for the daily drive.
