In a previous thread you mentioned RPMs and I thought that the Tip was running at much lower RPMs then most think is best. I thought the same thing regarding Porsche and their auto programming relative to RPM ranges
I personally think that running under or around 2K, except brief periods, puts to much stress on the clutch. I can't speak to what affects or loads it puts on the IMS.

What I do know is that Highway cruising at 75 speedo (71-72 real) in 6th is right around 3k(-)
65 in 6th puts it down around 2500(+). The car is bogged down at this range
