What did you do with/to your Boxster today?

Well I installed the short shifter that Ben puts together. It took me a little over two hours and ran into a few hiccups since it was my first time. This also includes replacing the parking brake switch. The car shifts so positively now. It will take a small amount of time to adjust to it but I took a quick 15 minute test drive to try it out. It is definitely worth it! Very glad with the outcome!

I just paid for one today and should have mine in a few days, I'm excited! I've talked with Ben about installation and I'm sure I'll be talking to him more once I'm in the process. However, having done this yourself for the first time now could you give any quick tips for a newbie, or obvious mistakes to avoid? Also, what do you mean this includes replacing the parking brake switch? Is there something else I should buy before installing the shifter?
